October 25, 2005 - We're back with Part 2 of our coverage of the Tokyo Motor Show. We've got everything from insect-looking supercars to rally cars to Kei vehicles. Instead of boring you with a long-winded intro, we'll get straight to the good stuff We've got seven pages of coverage today plus a massive gallery. That's a lot of stuff to get through, so let's get on with it already!

- From what we hear, the Concept X is a hint at what the next Lancer Evolution may look like. Like all good Lancer Evolutions, the Concept X has a turbocharged four liter engine sending power to all four wheels. For the Concept X, this power is sent through a six-speed automatic transmission. While we normally hate auto trannies, the auto tranny in the Concept X can be controlled via paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Let's hope that the Concept X's paddle shifters behave more like the ones found in a Ferrari rather than the "SportTronic" auto shifter found in the third-gen Eclipse...

- Sweet! Another minivan concept! This one is based on the Delica, a funky-looking, techno-meets-off-road-ready minivan that is pretty damn popular in Japan. If this is a sneak-peek at the next Delica, we can't wait to see the D:5 outfitted with the bulky roof-rack and aero kit that most of the current Delicas seem to have. It sounds ugly, but it's a pretty cool car when you see it in person. The same goes for this D:5... yeah, it looks weird in pictures, but it's pretty cool when seen up close. We wish the U.S. got minivans like these. We'd sure as hell be driving one.
